This design for butter storage is called a “French Style Butter Keeper”, also known as a “butter bell”. Icy cold water is stored in the bottom while butter is kept cool upside down in the lid. Take out the lid, spread your butter – Ta-da! Cool butter stored in the top. We used artemisia leaves on a white background for this. Approximately 4″ x 4″ with 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ well in the lid. Leaf placement and glaze design may vary slightly from the one pictured.
