156- French Style Butter Keeper (Blue on Lime Green)

Description

This design for butter storage is called a “French Style Butter Keeper”, also known as a “butter bell”. Icy cold water is stored in the bottom while butter is kept cool upside down in the lid. Take out the lid, spread your butter – Ta-da! Cool butter stored in the top. Glazed in shades of blue with hints of purple on a lime green base color. Approximately 3″ tall with a 4 1/2″ wide top.  The well, where the butter goes, is approx. 3″ x 3″.  Glaze design may vary slightly from the one pictured.
